The Impact Of Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies

NORTH BABYLON – Sixth-graders from Robert Moses Middle School are working hard to keep their school green.

The students, who are part of the school’s Environmental Recycling Club, go from classroom to classroom collecting paper and plastic bottles for recycling. NYC plastic recycling is growing by leaps and bounds

“It’s really good for the kids, educationally,” says teach Chris Brodmerckel. “They really grab a hold of it and want to do more for their community.”

Last year alone, the student kept 2 tons of recyclables out of landfills.
